Tiimi-Yhtiöt Oy (later Nina Tuovinen Art), business ID 1007535-6, registered in Finland, sells art items to companies and private persons. The items are produced by the artist Nina Tuovinen.

This website is owned by Nina Tuovinen Art and operated by Wix.com. These Terms set forth the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and services as offered by us. This website offers visitors information about Nina Tuovinen as an artist and her art for sale. By accessing or using the website of our service, you approve that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

The buyer orders the products on this website by placing products in the shopping basket and paying for them through the payment service. Commission paintings are ordered by contacting Nina Tuovinen via contact form in this website or sending e-mail to info@ninatuovinen.com. All prices shown include VAT. Nina Tuovinen Art reserves the right to change the prices and delivery costs at any time.

All customer information is handled confidentially. The contact information given when placing the order is used for delivery of the order and for resolving possible issues with the order. When ordering from Nina Tuovinen Art you are expected to have acquainted yourself with and committed yourself to the terms and conditions valid at the time of the purchase.

 

PAYMENTS

Payment options are credit card payment and Paypal. Your payment will immediately be registered for Nina Tuovinen Art and a confirmation email is sent to your inbox.

Credit card payments
All direct payment gateways are offered by Wix.com and used by Nina Tuovinen Art adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

PayPal

After choosing PayPal, you get directed to PayPal for signing in and confirming the payment. When the payment has succeeded, you are directed back to Nina Tuovinen Art.

DELIVERY

Nina Tuovinen Art delivers worldwide. The delivery fee is specified in the shopping basket before placing the order. Artwork prices and delivery fees are in euro (EUR).

Delivery time for available art, postcards and prints is, depending on the destination country, 3-15 working days, unless another delivery time is stated in the artwork information. Nina Tuovinen Art takes no responsibility in a force major delay or any indirect hindrances. Delivery time for commissions will be negotiated between Nina Tuovinen Art and the receiver.

In Finland the receiver may choose to pick up the package from Nina Tuovinen Atelier, Arkadiankatu 31, 00100 Helsinki, Finland. Receiver needs to contact Nina Tuovinen before the pickup and agree on the pickup timetable.

Recipient's phone number is mandatory for the courier to be able to reach the recipient. If the recipient is not reached, the courier leaves a contact request. If the recipient does not contact the courier, the delivery will be returned to the sender.

The buyer is obligated to inspect the condition of the package upon delivery. If the package is damaged or does not correspond to the order, the courier and Nina Tuovinen Art must be notified.

The courier service's general terms are applied for transportation

 

RECEPTION OF GOODS

The buyer or its representative must inspect the goods received. If a damage is noticed in the reception of goods, the buyer needs to notify it immediately to the carrier and Nina Tuovinen Art. They must also take other necessary measures to ensure their right to claim compensation from the party responsible for damage.

Due date for presenting a claim and loss of entitlement to compensation
A written claim must be presented to the Nina Tuovinen Art within six months from the date when the claimant received notice of their right to compensation, and no later than within one year occurrence of the event. If the claim is not presented within this period, the claimant loses the entitlement to compensation.

 

COMPENSATION AND RECOVERED GOODS
Nina Tuovinen Art must be informed if the goods for which the Nina Tuovinen Art has paid compensation are later found or recovered.

 

DISSAPEARANCE OF GOODS AND ABANDONED GOODS
The goods have disappeared if they have not reached their destination within one month from the estimated date of arrival as regards domestic transport in Finland or three months in international transport and the whereabouts of the goods are not known.

The amount of loss or damage is the full value of the goods when a carrier to which the goods have been entrusted admits in writing that the goods have disappeared.

 

RETURN POLICY
All goods have a 14 day return right. Buyers are responsible for the delivery costs, but 120 euro at the most. Nina Tuovinen Art is responsible for the delivery fee only if the package is damaged before returning. If you want to return a product or products, please contact Nina Tuovinen Art, info@ninatuovinen.com

The money will be refunded within 14 days after the product has been returned to the sender. If the product that is returned has been used against the duty to exercise proper care, Nina Tuovinen Art has the right to deduct the decrease in value partially or fully including the delivery fee for returning the goods.

Since the paintings shipped are unique, the importance of careful packaging is particularly important. The artwork must be intact and packed in its original or corresponding package. The rule of thumb is that the package must be soft on the inside and hard on the outside.

Please bear in mind that refunding is applicable only for intact goods (unless they have already been destroyed when delivered) without any signs of use. The goods shall be packed preferably using original materials and they have to be packed following these guidelines:

- Ensure that the package is intact.
- There should be no empty space in the package.
- Use foam plastic, styrofoam or bubble wrap as soft packaging material.
- Place cardboard or other hard material between flat and fragile items, so that the outside of the package is hard. The package must be able to tolerate blows and stacking.

Before delivery, the buyer must provide Nina Tuovinen Art with pictures of the product and the package by email to determine the condition of the product and to guarantee the durability of the package. Email needs to be sent to info@ninatuovinen.com.

Agree with Nina Tuovinen Art on the day for fetching the package. If the product has been damaged during the transport due to the packaging instructions not being followed, Nina Tuovinen Art has the right to deduct the costs for repairing the product partially or fully from the sum to be refunded.

TAXES AND CUSTOMS
VAT (value added tax) is applicable for private persons within the EU and for companies in Finland. Companies within the EU do not pay VAT. Private and corporate customers outside the EU do not pay VAT when making a purchase on Nina Tuovinen Art. When buying and delivering goods outside the EU, the receiver is responsible for local taxes, customs duty and other comparable costs.

 

COPYRIGHT
All the pictures, videos, logos and texts in this website are the property of Nina Tuovinen. Using them is not allowed without written permission by Nina Tuovinen. Contact info@ninatuovinen.com if you want to get the permission. Making of products or goods using pictures, logos, videos or texts found in this website is strictly prohibited.

The artist, Nina Tuovinen, retains copyright to the artwork and the right to access the artwork. Nina Tuovinen Art has a right to receive a fee on the resale of her works of art (droit de suite).

The artist can ask the buyer to borrow her artwork for an exhibition. Terms and details regarding a potential borrowing of artwork are agreed to separately.
